    Spark (circuit symbols).jpg

The new KS2 science curriculum requires Year 6 pupils to begin using circuit symbols to represent their circuits. In this lesson, pupils go on a mission to collect missing symbols, build their own wacky circuits and are made aware of how to stay safe when using electricity. This lesson may be preceded by Electricity: Testing circuits.

    Pupils will learn:

    • How to use standard circuit symbols to represent some components
    • How to stay same when working with electrical circuits
